Al-Nusif: We remain committed to continuously enhancing draw mechanisms and reinforcing transparency to ensure a fair experience for all our customers
The return of Al Jawhara draws offers genuine opportunities to create new millionaires
National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has resumed the Al Jawhara and Al Jawhara Junior prize draws programme—the largest of its kind in Kuwait—reaffirming that customers’ chances during the deferred period remain fully preserved, with no impact on their eligibility to win.
NBK commenced the deferred draws process on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, announcing the names of 14 winners, each receiving a prize of KWD 20,000, as part of the deferred weekly Al Jawhara draws for the period from 1 April 2025 to 29 July 2025. The Bank will continue conducting the remaining deferred draws for both Al Jawhara and Al Jawhara Junior programmes, exceeding 60 draws with a total value of more than KWD 5 million, over a five-day period. This includes announcing three winners of KWD 1 million each as part of Al Jawhara grand draws for May 2025, September 2025, and January 2026.
To further uphold the highest standards of transparency and integrity, NBK has appointed an additional external auditor, Grant Thornton, to oversee and audit all prize draw processes, regardless of prize value. This complements the continued oversight by Deloitte, ensuring that all draws are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of integrity, while reaffirming the Bank’s ongoing commitment to rewarding its customers and reinforcing their trust.
Furthermore, NBK clarified that, as part of enhancing the draw mechanism, any winning customer will be excluded from participating in subsequent draws for a minimum of 90 working days from the date of winning. Furthermore, if the value of a single prize or the aggregate prizes won by a customer equals or exceeds KWD 50,000, the customer will be excluded from all draws for one year from the date of the most recent win, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all customers.
On this occasion, Mr. Hisham Al-Nusif, Chief, Consumer Banking at NBK, said: “The resumption of Al Jawhara prize draws marks an important milestone that reflects NBK’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding its customers, while continuing the journey of a programme that has long been one of the most prominent drivers of savings.”
Al-Nusif emphasized NBK’s commitment to continuously enhancing draw mechanisms and strengthening transparency to ensure a fair and equitable experience for all customers, reinforcing the trust that the Bank values and is keen to uphold at all times.
“We look forward to a new phase with a regular draw schedule, offering more genuine opportunities to create new millionaires,” He concluded.
Al Jawhara prize draws offer a total annual prize pool of KWD 5 million, featuring weekly prizes of KWD 20,000, monthly prizes of KWD 125,000, and a grand prize of KWD 1 million awarded three times annually.
As for Al Jawhara Junior draws, dedicated to customers under the age of 21, monthly draws offer seven cash prizes (KWD 1,000 for three winners and KWD 500 for four winners), in addition to one winner receiving a KWD 10,000 cash prize with every Al Jawhara grand draw.
