• AECOM, BHNS Engineering Consultants and Khatib & Alami to provide design and supervision services

 Dubai, UAE – DAMAC Properties has awarded multiple contracts for consultancy services for its DAMAC Lagoons master community development in Dubailand.

Energoprojekt Entel Co. Ltd has been awarded a contract for consultancy services for a 132/11kV sub-station. Under the supervision of Energoprojekt Entel Co, a consultant approved by DEWA, the substations will be built in compliance with the utility authority’s strictest regulations and specifications. These works will help provide power supply and accelerate progress to development activities at DAMAC Lagoons.

AECOM has been awarded consultancy service contract for the Venice cluster and the iconic Central Hub for the master development. A contract for consultancy services for three of the community’s clusters, including Malta, Nice 1 and Nice 2 was awarded to BHNS Engineering Consultants. A similar contract has been awarded to Khatib & Alami for the Nice 3, Costa Brava villa package and Portofino clusters.

Additionally, the Hussain Sajwani-DAMAC Foundation was part of the ‘Fresh Slate’ initiative in collaboration with the Dubai Police General Headquarters aimed at aiding detainees in Dubai’s Punitive and Correctional Institutions who have been charged with petty offences.

HSDF has also pledged Dh5 million for the 1 Billion Meals initiative launched by Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum at the start of Ramadan 2022, aimed at providing meals to underprivileged communities in 50 countries across the world.

DAMAC also supported the vision of Sheikh Mohammed to train one million Arab coders in creating an empowered society through learning and skills development, an initiative that successfully wrapped up in May 2022.
