Cairo, Egypt – Global Medical City (GMC), the first fully-integrated medical city in Cairo, signed a cooperation agreement with Misr El Kheir Foundation, Egypt’s renowned NGO that supports the community through health, education, scientific research, social solidarity, life aspects, and integrated development. The cooperation agreement will see the Foundation send health-related referrals to GMC while also further strengthening partnerships across the healthcare system in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030 to ensure all Egyptians have a healthy, safe and secure life through an integrated, accessible, high quality healthcare system, which will lead to prosperity, welfare, happiness, as well as social and economic development.
Under this agreement, GMC will offer referrals from Misr El Kheir Foundation special offerings on select medical services including consultant examinations in outpatient clinics, renal dialysis, endoscopy service, and select local and imported medicines at GMC’s integrated medical facility.
The signing ceremony of the partnership was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ayyad, CEO of GMC; Mr. Kareem Mekawy, Executive Director of Thiqqa General Trading, which runs and operates Global Medial City (GMC); and Mrs. Afaf El Gohary, Director of Health Sector in Misr El Kheir.
