Doha, Qatar: Leading regional insurer, the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG), held its first VIP partner event and awards on 15th March 2023 in St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island in Doha. The event was attended by over 80 members of the Qatari insurance community and recognized GIG Qatar’s investment in the country.

The special event saw GIG Qatar reaffirm the importance of its partner communities and its commitment to forge partnerships that deliver opportunities for growth. At the event, GIG Qatar announced the launch of the new Qatar Mandatory Visitor Health Insurance policy, which is only available through selected companies by the Ministry of Public Health. Whether visitors are travelling to Qatar on business or as tourists – or if they are visiting a friend or family member who is a resident of Qatar – they can now buy the mandatory visitor’s health insurance online in just one minute from the GIG website.
