Abu Dhabi, UAE:—Bayanat (ADX: BAYANAT), an ADX-listed public company and leading provider of AI-powered geospatial solutions, signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with Xcalibur Multiphysics, the worldwide leader in airborne geophysics, and Teledyne Geospatial, the global leader in sensors and software solutions for mapping land and water during the launch of the world-leading Smart & Autonomous Vehicle Industries (SAVI) Cluster in Abu Dhabi.

The MOUs were signed by Bayanat COO, Abdulla Al Shamsi; Teledyne Vice President and General Manager, Geoffroy Deltel; and Xcalibur Multiphysics VP of Financing and Middle East Director, Dario Castellanos, in the presence of the Bayanat’s Managing Director, Hasan Al Hosani.

Bayanat and Teledyne Geospatial will work together to further develop industryleading autonomous survey technologies, introducing new and existing technologies for drones and underwater vehicles collecting geospatial data in air, on the water surface, and through the water column to the surface of the seafloor. As a part of the agreement, Bayanat will leverage the latest technologies in areas such as artificial intelligence, near real time and edge computing, digital twins, and digital mapping. Through this collaboration, Bayanat and Teledyne Geospatial will develop new technologies for survey operations that offer an expanding range of cuttingedge products and solutions to enhance geospatial operations for land and sea."

Bayanat and Xcalibur will collaborate to deploy a first of its kind, state of art geophysical autonomous system for the UAE. The system will map natural resources with a focus on strategic minerals, water resources, and geothermal and hydrogen energy potential.

Moreover, both companies will work on exploring international opportunities together. Bayanat will also leverage latest technologies such as Machine Learning and AI to empower insights generation and data interpretation, supporting key global efforts and enabling countries to tap into new potentials.

The companies will also work together to develop new emerging technologies related to Natural Capital Mapping to offer a complete range of cutting-edge products and solutions to enhance their land and sea operations.

Bayanat also displayed its cutting-edge advancements in autonomous vehicles at the launch of the SAVI Cluster, showcasing two robo-minibuses, a drone from Mira Aerospace (a JV between Bayanat and UAVOS) and a robo-taxi from TXAI. The signing of these pivotal MOUs during the launch of the SAVI Cluster, along with the presentation of these remarkable vehicles, exemplifies Bayanat's dedication to advancing the autonomous systems ecosystem in Abu Dhabi.

The SAVI Cluster was launched to support innovation in Abu Dhabi’s aviation and aerospace sectors. The cluster will develop autonomous air, land, and sea vehicles, and is expected to contribute AED90-AED120 billion to the UAE economy and generate 30,000-50,000 jobs.
