Dubai, UAE: As part of the company’s regional growth strategy, Cofely Besix Facility Management (CBFM) recently appointed two new senior managers.

Martin Zobel has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for strategic and financial planning, business performance and seeking best value across the project portfolio, arranging financing for projects and acquisitions, management of working capital and the company’s accounts and taxation.

Zobel has over 25 years of senior financial management experience in a variety of sectors including telecommunications, IT, railway engineering and operations, as well as project management consultancy. Prior to joining CBFM, he worked with Louis Berger as Chief Operations and Finance Officer for the Middle East. He is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Zobel explains, “It is an exciting time to be working within the FM industry as there are a huge variety of real estate and infrastructure projects being completed across the region, and CBFM is perfectly positioned to take advantage of these new opportunities.”

“I am keen to apply a mix of experience and ‘disruption’ to my new role and I certainly look forward to being a part of the CBFM’s success story,” added Zobel.

Vincent Montanet also joins CBFM as the company’s new Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).

With over 25 years of commercial and operational experience in outsourced services, Montanet previously worked for the ENGIE COFELY group as UK Director of Sales, followed by 7 years working across the Middle East as General Manager for services and consultancy operations.

In his new role as CBDO, Montanet is responsible for delivering the company’s growth strategy by focusing on current and new sectors and countries.

“Our mission is on delivering sustainable growth in the region by leveraging the group’s local reach and unique capabilities in FM, asset and energy services,” explained Montanet.

“The objective is to further increase our influence on local and regional industry sectors, and to work closely with our clients in optimising increasingly challenging CAPex and OPex budgets by utilising our expertise in life-cycle management, service and energy solutions.”

“One may say that my passion to exceed customer expectations is cliché, however I find that very few organisations in this region have the solutions and resource to comprehensively deliver the short to long-term asset and energy solutions customers seek. CBFM is perfectly geared up to do all that, in-house and specific to sectors,” added Montanet.
