Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - CIC - Certified IT Consultants, one of the first locally based SAP Services company in the region, has launched its KSA operation. The launch was celebrated at CIC's new office at the Akaria Plaza in Riyadh. The ceremony was attended by elite of SAP's Management and staff, CIC's founders, along with CIC's customer and prospects.
The ceremony kicked off with a word by Hesham El Ganainy (CIC Co-Chairman & CEO) saying: "CIC was established in 2002 with one office in UAE to implement and support SAP in the MENA region. Two years later, CIC expanded its operation by opening a second office in Egypt to capitalize on the knowledge gained to build a dedicated Arab speaking resource pool. Today, CIC coming to Saudi with more than 20 full life cycle implementations, more than 40 customers and 130+ Arabic speaking consultants"
"CIC changed the way Customers look at SAP here in the MENA region by training local competent resources armed with global best practices hence eliminating geographical and cultural barriers that once existed. Saudi Arabia counts for more than 50% of the SAP installed base in the MENA region and $3.3 billion in IT investments. CIC plans to utilize its winning practices in similar markets (UAE, Qatar, Egypt) and its rich industry specific experience to help Saudi companies better leverage their IT investments.
The ceremony was also attended by Abdel Rahman Bawazeer - SAP KSA Managing Director who said: "Of course we SAP KSA value and appreciate that a company like CIC come and join us in developing the SAP market in Saudi Arabia. SAP started its direct investments in the Saudi market 3 years ago and was recently ranked as one of the top 100 investors in KSA. This is a certification that we take pride in and shows our commitment to the Saudi market"
