As part of its drive to keep CGC-Nokia personnel up-to-date on upcoming mobile phones and accessories, Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) hosted specialized training on much-awaited Nokia N8 at its new corporate office training center in Doha recently. About 175 sales and service personnel from CGC retail, channel, corporate, Nokia Care and call center divisions as well as dealer salespersons took part in the three-day long training conducted by a master trainer from Nokia Academy. The training focused on the hi-tech features, functionalities and unique selling points of the top-of-the-class Nokia N8.
The coming-soon smartphone N8 is among Nokia's best handsets. Its salient features include 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and a large sensor that rivals those found in compact digital cameras. It has 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen, 3 customisable home screens, free navigation and 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 48 GB. The phone enables access to Web TV services and comes with a mini-HDMI port which means its user can watch pictures and movies directly on a TV.
On the occasion, Anil Mahajan, Chief Operating Officer, CGC, said, "We are committed to keep our Nokia personnel up-to-date with such specialised training enabling them to enhance their skill sets and knowledge in order to share detailed information on products and services to our valued customers efficiently."
The highlight of the training was a detailed presentation involving physical and practical demonstration. The participants were also presented with certificate for successfully completing training on Nokia N8.
