Caviar in Abu Dhabi Receives Final Approval Ahead of Launch

-Regulatory bodies including ADFCA, Environment Agency and ZonesCorp visit farm ahead of final approvals-

7 May 2012, Abu Dhabi, UAE: Aqua Orbis UAE, Bin Salem Holding's state-of-the-art caviar farm, has received the final approval for the farm's production licence following a visit by various Abu Dhabi regulatory organisations.

The farm was visited by teams from the Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority, the Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi, the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) department of the Ministry of Environment and Water, and the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp).  After inspecting the facility in its entirety, the regulatory bodies have now given the final approval for the farm to proceed with receiving its production licence ahead of the launch of Bin Salem's caviar later this year.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi-based Bin Salem Holding, announced:

Aqua Orbis UAE
Aqua Orbis UAE was created in partnership with United Food Technologies (UFT). It is the world's largest and most technologically advanced producer of high quality sustainably sourced caviar and sturgeon fillets.  The company is set to release its first commercial batch of caviar and fillets in the second half of 2012.
