Biggest Prize Draw by Carrefour Qatar this year

Doha, 20 July 2011- Carrefour Qatar announced the winners of the Summer Mania promotion which awarded three lucky raffle entrants with a Nissan Armada, the biggest, most spacious SUV offered by the car maker.

The winners were Mr. Eyad Al Kammari, Mr. Wilfred Scott and Mr. Bandar Jassem Al Souaidi.

The Promotion which ran from 29 June to 19 July 2011 provided customers with one raffle coupon for every QR50 spent at any Carrefour Hypermarket in Doha, with one vehicle being raffled each week.

The prize draws were conducted in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Business and Trade as well as Mr. David Zamagna, General Manager Carrefour City Center and Mr. Khalid El Khatouri, General Manager Carrefour Landmark Mall.

On behalf of MAF Hypermarkets, Mr. Frank Moreau who serves as District Manager for Carrefour in Qatar and Kuwait later said in a statement: "When we set out to create this year's Summer Mania promotion, the overarching objective was to make it accessible to everyone, as well as give each entry more than one chance of winning this exciting grand prize. The results have been outstanding and demonstrate the great relationship we enjoy with our customers in Qatar.

He said promotions such as the Summer Mania prize draw are an expression of appreciation to loyal customers. "Carrefour Hypermarkets strive to provide the best experience to our customers. This includes giving our customers not just the most value for their purchases but, more importantly, the best choices available in the market," he said.                                                                     

With such a valuable prize being distributed each week, the Summer Mania 2011 is also one of the biggest prizes awarded by the Hypermarket brand in Qatar and demonstrates the brand's leadership in the market as well as its accessibility to customers through strategically located outlets at City Center, Landmark Mall and Villagio, where the majority of Qatar's citizens and residents go to shop.
