New range of large format printers launched at Canon's first end user seminar
Muscat, Oman, 18 April 2011: Canon Middle East, the world leading imaging and business solutions provider, launched its latest imagePROGRAF range of large format printers at its first ever end-user seminar for system integrators and value added resellers in Oman. The initiative organised by Genetco, Canon's authorised distributor in Oman is part of the company's ongoing strategy aimed at building relationships with its end-user customers.
"This is the first in a series of end-user seminars that we will be conducting in Oman. Our aim is to get the message across to our customers that we are committed to engaging with them directly in order to deliver outstanding products and unrivalled service, ensuring that they get the most out of every Canon product they purchase," said Ambuj Khare, General Mangaer, Genetco.
"The LFP market is rapidly expanding and having access to the latest large format solutions is something that our customers demand. We will continue to offer leading technology to support our customer's growth plans and help encourage the growth of Oman's large format printing market as a whole," added Khare
The new models showcased at the event provide a fast, precise, effective and affordable system for copying, archiving and distributing technical documents such as maps, drawings, renderings, blueprints, facility management plans and construction site maps. They are ideally suited to the Computer-aided Design (CAD), Geographical Information Systems (GIS), facilities management markets, as well as reprographic and print-for-pay environments.
"The launch of this range underlines our commitment to Oman's professional CAD and GIS markets, whilst providing our customers with a flexible print offering in the new general use market. We have listened to the needs of our customers and are responding to the industry requirement for accurate, detailed prints at high speed. These devices also highlight our strengthened presence in this space, and by producing devices that are cost-effective and robust, it is easy to see the benefits and return on investment that these LFP devices bring to business," said Vishal Gohel, Product Manager, Canon Middle East
"Through the end user seminar we wanted to extend support to our partners in order to deliver the most competitive proposition possible," concluded Gohel.
