· Participation at event marks Canon's strong entry into the Professional Print sector

Casablanca, Morocco, 31 May 2011: Canon Middle East has announced its first participation at SIAGRA - Digital Expo Africa, a leading event for the region's digital print industry which further underlines its commitment to the Moroccan Professional Print industry. Canon will be showcasing its cutting edge professional print solutions through its newly appointed partner, Synergix at the five day show in Casablanca.

"Through our participation at SIAGRA, Canon will provide the North African Professional Print industry with a range of new technologies and workflow solutions to allow our customers to stand out from the crowd. The Canon stand at SIAGRA will showcase how products can efficiently perform different print jobs based on the printing application and vertical market requirements. The demonstrations will help to address, the production challenges that Canon's professional print customers face within the graphic arts and CRD sectors.  Customers will also have the opportunity to learn more about added digital print and business building tools that will enable them to develop their business further and open up new revenue opportunities.

Among the range of products, the highlights include the industry leading imageRUNNER ADVANCE colour and monochrome presses such as imageRUNNER 9070 and 8105.  The new imageRUNNER ADVANCE PRO series of light production engines will offer digital printers an affordable and scalable point of entry to the benefits of digital light production.

Canon will be showcasing its latest Professional Print solutions at stand B4 at OFEC Convention Centre, Casablanca from 31st May to 4th June 2011.
