Calvin Klein Holds First-ever Such Event in Dubai Hosted by Brand's Creative Director
NEW YORK, NY: Calvin Klein, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation [NYSE: PVH] today announced that the company will hold a unique installation and cocktail party at the Four Seasons Golf Club in Dubai on Thursday, April 24th.
Hosted by Kevin Carrigan, the Creative Director of ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans, the event will bring together and showcase products from all of the company's Spring 2008 lines, each within its own unique lifestyle installation. The brands to be featured include Calvin Klein Collection apparel and accessories; footwear, watches and jewelry; Calvin Klein Jeans apparel and accessories, and Calvin Klein underwear, and eyewear. Additionally, Calvin Klein fragrances will feature the new Euphoria Intense fragrance, and for the first time in Dubai, there will be an advance preview of the new ck Calvin Klein beauty line of color cosmetics which will be exclusively featured on all of the female models at the event. The new line is set to debut in the region in May at Debenhams Mall of the Emirates. Additionally, the ck Calvin Klein men's and women's footwear offering will also be previewed, in advance of the line's arrival at retail for the first time in the U.A.E. later this fall.
The evening's host, Kevin Carrigan, will be joined by Tom Murry, President & COO of Calvin Klein, Inc. and several other key executives of the company.
This is another in a series of global events that the company has been holding over the past few years in important and exciting global markets. Previous locations include Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, London, and New York. Several other similar events are planned over the next year as the company begins to celebrate its 40th anniversary later this year.
