Kuwait, 17 November 2011: British Airways has introduced a Boeing 747-400 aircraft on its Kuwait route for the winter schedule along with some great sale fares for its Kuwait customers travelling to the UK, Europe, USA and Canada this winter.

With a daily flight from Kuwait International Airport to London Heathrow, British Airways continues to offer Kuwait travellers the best in-air experience.

The Boeing 747 aircraft serving the London-Kuwait-London route will offer a choice of four cabins that includes 14 suites on the airline's flagship First cabin; 52 fully flat-bed seats in Club World business class on the main deck and the upper deck; 36 seats in World Traveller Plus, the premium economy cabin and 235 seats in the World Traveller, economy cabin.

Paolo De Renzis, Regional Commercial Manager Middle East said: More and more people from Kuwait are travelling for tourism, business, and education, and British Airways has increased capacity by 49 per cent this winter, by introducing the Boeing 747.  This aircraft features spacious cabins, Audio-Visual On Demand  and a family friendly environment with select children's entertainment options.

"The move is a re-affirmation of the long-term commitment of serving our loyal customers in Kuwait and reinforcing the brand as the preferred carrier of choice for travel into the UK or for transiting to other destinations in the extensive British Airways network."

British Airways is also offering travellers flying from Kuwait discounted fares that are available until 05 December for travel until 31 March 2012. Travellers can soak in a cultural feast at various destinations while enjoying the convenience of British Airways wide ranging network of destinations as they arrive, depart and transfer through Terminal 5 - the airlines' state of the art terminal at London Heathrow.

The special all-inclusive fares to London during this period are available at ba.com and start from, KD 748 in Club World (business class), KD 334 in World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and KD 197 in World Traveller (economy class).  Other great fares are available to Europe and North America.
