World renowned Italian suit maker expands profile in Qatar

Doha, Qatar - 18th November 2007 - Brioni's Master tailor, Mr. Francesco Marrone, two-day visit to Doha aimed at enhancing the partnership between Brioni and Modern Home - exclusive franchiser in Qatar- and providing stylish male clientele a unique insight of the "Brioni made-to-measure" concept and future fashion lines.

Since its launch in 1945, Brioni has earned the reputation of one of the leading fashion icons in the world by redefining men's couture, dressing some of the great celebrities such as the favourite all times secret agent James Bond. The brand has never wavered from its single-minded focus on creating the finest, most elegant menswear customized to each individual client. Even its ready-made range, boasts Brioni's dedication to quality and attention to details that few can match.

Mr. Nazar Najarian, the General Manager of Modern Home said: "Brioni's Italian style expresses a renewed but luxurious hand crafted classic cut which perfectly suits our fashion-conscious clientele with the "made-to-measure" concept. Clients can choose from a wide range of 5,000 fabrics, the finest cashmere and silk blends to the very latest elegant cloth, Escorial, the first natural fiber to have both stretch and crease-resistant properties for which Brioni has a patent."

"Our distinguished clients are also satisfied of being able to purchase Brioni's complete range of ready-made suits which encompasses shirts, ties, and jackets at the Modern Home Al-Maha store on the Salwa road here in Doha," he added.

During his visit, the master tailor took measurements of a select few VIP guests to achieve the best "fabric reproduction" of each client's body to create their new 'bespoke' Brioni suits. "Wearing a Brioni custom-made suit accommodates the client's personality and stylistic taste. Each made-to-measure tailoring project has its own paper pattern, thus; allowing each client to simply order his new suits by choosing from a selection of 2000 patterns without the need for repeated visits and lengthy fittings.  Each Brioni suit is tailored to fit only one individual in the world." said Mr. Marrone.

Each year, Brioni's 900 tailors create 200 models in different styles and sizes. One fourth of the production consists of bespoke suits for a select group of 25,000 customers world-wide. The rest are ready made suits in various sizes. "Modern Home stocks a vast range of ready made Brioni suits in all sizes", affirms Mr. Najarian. Asked about Brioni's performance so far, he said: "The brand has already received a fantastic response in the market. There is already a select group of connoisseurs in Qatar who know and appreciate what Brioni offers, and we're happy to serve them."

Being one of the most premium men's fashion brands in the world, Brioni is certainly not for everyone, but for those who are fascinated with the Brioni label. In fact, legend even has it that an Arab Sheikh was so impressed with his Brioni that he ordered 100 bespoke suits to be delivered in a single month.
