Thursday 1 December, 2011 - BIBF's Centre for Accounting and IT and QMF Global have signed an agreement for the provision of an internationally recognised qualification in Auditing for the GCC market.

This auditing qualification includes QA training courses and development products in ISOs 9001, 14001, and 18001.  Key components will be the five day Lead Auditor courses, a certification examination, passing of which will make the successful candidate a Lead Auditor for that standard.

The ISO 9001 standard relates to quality management systems and is designed to help organisations ensure they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders.

The ISO 14001 environmental management standard exists to help organisations (a) minimize how their operations (processes etc.) negatively affect the environment; comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements, and (c) continually improve in the above.

The ISO 18001 is intended to help businesses control occupational health and safety risks.

The agreement was signed by Mr Garry Muriwai, Director - BIBF  and Mr Yousaf Razaq, Director, QMF Global Consultants and Mr Faisal Riaz, Director - QMF Global Certification UK.
