Bharat the newest addition to leylaty group, has been buzzing in with huge number of visitors

Jeddah - Bharat, the latest addition to the ever-growing list of fine dining restaurants owned by the Leylaty Group that is located in Stars Avenue Mall, has become the talk of the town ever since it opened in February this year as a one of its kind ultra chic restaurant designed by a renowned Paris based designer.

A press conference was organized at Bharat restaurant for the media, where press representatives gathered in presence of Leylaty Group President Mr. Hani Al Attas who spoke about the new experience that Bharat has to offer. Later, the media experienced an intelligent mix of traditional Indian classic food with modern flair, clean and sober presentation of favorites such as mulligatawny soup, chicken tikka, Tiger prawn jalfrezi, Kashmiri roganjosh to name a few.

Mr. Hani Al Attas Leylaty Group President said that, "Bharat is the representation of just how important gastronomy is to us; Indian cuisine is known for its spiciness and quite different from the rest of the world, not only in taste but also in cooking methods. Just like Indian culture, food in India is also influenced by various civilizations that have contributed their share in its overall development and the present form"

The design and ambience of Bharat restaurant reflects that rich Indian culture. As you pass the revolving doors, you are greeted by staff dressed in traditional Indian attire, who were apparently selected from some of the most re-known Palaces in India. The room is adorned with rich colored fabrics, low reaching chandeliers and intricate designs pointing towards fine wooden tables that seat on a parquet flooring giving the restaurant its homely feel. The most intriguing part of the menu is the contemporary selection of resident Chef Gurudath and consultant celebrity Chef Mallikarjun Goud who have invented unique dishes that remain true to Indian heritage, awaking the sense of smell and taste, yet showcasing their unique ability to make Indian food exciting.

Leylaty group known for its quality of food did not want to copy existing restaurants in town that have contributed greatly to set the standards in Jeddah, but wanted to deliver its own brand and direction, bringing contemporary global Indian food representative of the diversity that India has to offer, and after receiving initial feedback from its clientele, adjustments were made to meet its expectations.

The feedback and the enormous buzz of visitors received so far is encouraging and we will continue to strive in the same manner" added Mr. Hani Al Attas
