Better Business, the leading company in Organizational Development, has recently announced the completion of one of its "Team Building" programs that took place at the Kempinski Hotel in Aqaba. The overnight retreat was conducted for the USAID-funded health project entitled "Jordan Health Communication Partnership (JHCP) / Johns Hopkins University / Center for Communication Programs" which focuses on fostering health competence among individuals in their families, communities and working environments through the adoption of necessary knowledge, skills and resources to improve and sustain health.
Building on its mission to define best service practices for clients and led by a professional team of experts, Better Business developed a state of the art team building program that is aligned with the JHCP direction and approach and involved all participants in instructive team work activities and games. Among the Team Building activities that included a Treasure Hunt, there was a unique activity which was done for the first time in the region that is the Raft Building. During this activity, the participants built their own rafts using raw material, which successfully sailed in the Red Sea. This program aimed at assisting team members to better realize their role in their departments and organization, and to work in harmony with their groups bringing in different cultures and backgrounds by forming a strong bond and effective network.
On this occasion, Dr. Suhail Jouaneh, the Co-Founder & Chief Learning Officer of Better Business, stated: "We are indeed proud of our partnership with JHCP and will continue to nurture their trust in our future services and collaborations. The feedback we received proved to be impactful and participants are content confirming good results since we started this program. We promise to stay by our clients and walk with them hand in hand towards their growing success, having mutual commitment to a better business, and improving a good relationship with all stakeholders".
Mr. Edson E. Whitney, Chief of Party of JHCP in Jordan, added: "We are happy to have partnered with Better Business, which offers us valuable services and programs. We are committed to enhance our teams' spirit and boost solidarity, bringing positive traits into our workplace. This program gave us the opportunity to explore the individuality of our team members and their own way of thinking, making decisions and dealing with co-workers; working as one unit has always been our strength and will continue to be a learning process."
