Senseye Responds to the True Potential of the Human Eye
Senseye is a powerful image enhancement technology which gives a clearer, high contrast image with more vivid colours and less noise. For LCD monitors, Senseye utilizes three advanced engines - contrast, colour and sharpness to intelligently improve the image quality.
The new technology means viewers can enjoy more vivid and colourful pictures on their BenQ LCD monitors, because Senseye balances the colour richness. It also automatically deals with blurred images that are out of focus by subtly fine-tuning the edges of the pictures.
Four new products have been unveiled in the Senseye LCD monitor product line, each is tailored to suit the consumer's lifestyle. The FP71E+ is the world's first 17-inch LCD monitor with an amazing 8 ms response time, making it an ideal monitor for gamers and movie lovers. Alternatively, as an entry-level Senseye product, the same stylish design can be found in the FP71E.
The award-winning FP785 17-inch LCD monitor made its debut during the Milan Fashion week, and has received several awards for its chic design, including a 2004 iF Design Award. With a folding base for easy transport and a monitoring mounting kit, the FP785 can be easily placed on your desk or hung on the wall. This fashionable Senseye monitor is an excellent display to share your digital photo albums with friends.
For home DVD enthusiasts, the 17-inch FP71W (16:10) offers everything: Senseye technology for enhanced film definition, wide screen, 800:1 contrast, 450 cd/m2 brightness and optional speaker system with SRS surround sound effect and web camera. This high performance LCD monitor brings the cinema experience to your own home.
Senseye technology also allows you to define how you want to see images on your LCD monitor through four pre-set visual settings. The Movie 1 mode means the sharpness and colour saturation makes you feel like you are inside a theater, bringing unprecedented visual dimensions to graphics and animations.
Movie 2 mode is ideal for watching films or animations with brighter background; Photo mode creates fine smooth images, with rich and deep colours, while in Standard mode the image is toned-down and true to life, enabling the viewer to watch the screen with comfort for long periods of time.
For Home Theater LCD Displays, Senseye technology utilizes a sophisticated Senseye YUV Domain Engine dividing all colours into two elements, brightness (Y) and color (UV). This engine processes images like the human eye to enhance color, clarity, contrast and motion.
BenQ's Senseye digital projectors, such as the PE7700 and PE8720, delivers enhanced colour, motion, contrast and clarity through special features which are designed to provide you with the ultimate viewing experience.
