Dubai, UAE: Bell Pottinger has announced a series of senior level appointments across the group's international businesses.
In the first senior level move between its international offices in the Middle East and Asia, Sam Turvey, currently Managing Director in Dubai, will relocate to Hong Kong in early May, where he will take up the position of Managing Director. Sam played a key role in the successful development of Bell Pottinger's operations in the Middle East. He will give new impetus and a fresh perspective to our growing Hong Kong team.
The role of Managing Director in Dubai will be taken up by Nicola Hooper, currently a Partner in the Dubai office. Nicola joined the Middle East business in 2013, was promoted to Partner in 2015, and has been instrumental in nurturing some of Bell Pottinger's strongest client relationships in the Middle East.
Nicola will lead a team that has been expanded by a number of strong hires in the past year and, working closely with Archie Berens, Managing Director of Bell Pottinger's Abu Dhabi office, will implement a strategic plan to drive growth across financial, corporate, government and consumer communications.

In addition, as testament to the continuing relationship between Bell Pottinger and Chime Communications Limited, Tim Wilkinson, Chairman of Bell Pottinger Middle East and regional veteran, has assumed an additional role as Chairman of CSM Sport and Entertainment, Middle East and Africa. Tim will oversee the opening of a new office in Dubai for one of the world's leading sport and entertainment agencies, whilst continuing to support the Bell Pottinger team in growing the Geopolitical service offering.
