Shell Oman has launched its largest ever summer promotion, which will give customers who purchase Shell Helix the chance to win prizes ranging from six brand new Nissan Sunnys, to TVs, GSMs, and other high-value items. Each draw coupon has a chance of winning in all the subsequent draws. The promotion runs until August 15, 2003. An interesting feature of the promotion is that it works to raise customer awareness about the three different variations of motor oil that Shell Helix offers.  

Shell Helix offers three different and distinct lubricants for petrol engines - Helix (in the red pack) is a high quality mineral oil suitable for most standard saloon cars. Helix Plus (in the blue pack) is a semi-synthetic oil that provides advanced protection for more powerful engines and in difficult driving conditions. Shell Helix Ultra (in the grey pack) is a fully synthetic motor oil, created with Formula 1 technology to protect the high-performance engines of sports and luxury cars.  

This summer, if you purchase Shell Helix, you will obtain one lucky coupon. Buying Shell Helix Plus entitles you to receive three coupons while choosing Shell Helix Ultra will give you six entries into the lucky draw. A Municipality official will conduct each draw to ensure fairness and results of the winners will be notified according to the terms of the promotion.  

The promotion is open to all customers purchasing Shell Helix in Oman until August 15, 2003, and is available at all of the 121 Shell service stations across the country, lube shops and workshops. "This is simply the largest lube promotion in Oman," says Zaiviji Ismail, General Manger - Retail Sales & Operations, Shell Oman.
