Mother, Baby & Child Show provides top billing for kids' favourite dinosaur Barney as three-day family event promises music, fun & games and prizes galore!
Under the patronage of Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif wife of Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa, The Mother Baby and Child Show Abu Dhabi 2007 opens tomorrow (Thursday 24 May) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). Running through until Saturday 26 May, the show promises three days full of fun and games for all of the family. Event organiser TME has put together an all-new and exciting schedule which includes, star of the show, the lovable TV character Barney.
Apart from appearing live at the show, Barney will be launching a limited-edition DVD, which will only be available at the show for the first three days of its release. Viva Entertainment will be previewing highlights of the new DVD in Arabic and English, as well as retailing DVD's and merchandise of Barney and other children's favourite TV characters, such as the legendary Power Rangers. Some lucky kids will even get a chance to have their photo taken with their heroes.
Shannon Norris, Exhibition Director, said, "The main stage will be packed with activities from 12noon to 10pm with games and competitions throughout the day with hundreds of prizes or kids of all ages."
Other activities include numerous play areas, including the Progress Zone for babies and toddlers as well as some games for older kids, giving mums a well earned rest. Mums can also use the Sudocrem Baby Changing and Babies R US feeding area, whilst Palmers and Neutrogena are providing demonstrations and beauty tips. In addition there are fashions for women and children and the latest maternity wear for mums-to-be.
Proud mums and dads will also have the opportunity to show-off just how gorgeous their little ones are at the Fuji 'Kids of the UAE' café. Children's photos will be displayed around the café and the best portraits could win a Fuji Z1 camera. The star prize however remains 4 nights stay at the Cousine Island, the Seychelles' courtesy of the Seychelles Tourisim Board.
