Muscat: BankDhofar and Awasr recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide bill payment solution of services provided by Awasr through BankDhofar digital channels. The MoU was mutually signed by Ahmed Said Salim Al Ibrahim, Chief Corporate Services Officer of BankDhofar, and Issam Al Ismaili, Head of Commercial at Awasr, at COMEX Exhibition.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Ahmed Said Salim Al Ibrahim, Chief Corporate Services Officer of BankDhofar, said: “At BankDhofar we constantly endeavor to ensure convenient banking experience for customers backed with high level of security measures. We are proud to partner with Awasr, where Awasr subscribers will be able to pay their bills through BankDhofar digital channels, which offer easy, highly secured bill payment feature 24/7 along with other exclusive services and features.”
Issam Al Ismaili, Head of Commercial at Awasr said: “We continuously strive to change Internet culture and to accelerate the pace to keep abreast of the rapid technological development of online services. BankDhofar internet banking includes a number of features for retail and corporate clients. Along with managing accounts, customers may view details of their account, as well as payment transactions. The flagship Cardless Cash Transfer exclusive service allows BankDhofar customers to use their mobile phone as an ATM card where they can have access to their accounts and withdraw cash from any BankDhofar ATM.
