Axiom First to Market with LG's Flagship Phone;

'Shop-In-Shop' Concept Provides Interactive Merchandise Experience and Demonstrations

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Axiom Telecom, the region's leading mobile phone retailer, today announced the launch of a strategic retail partnership with LG that sees the company house a dedicated LG retail space in all UAE outlets.

Axiom, responsible for many 'firsts' into the mobile communications market, will be the primary Middle East vendor to sell LG's flagship phone for 2009, Arena KM900, satisfying customer's demand for the latest in mobile technology.

The move by the two highly-regarded and innovative brands comes at a time when many retailers are minimizing their product portfolios in a bid to cut costs and demonstrates strong leadership in the telecommunications market.

The LG 'shop-in-shop' concept will be used to showcase the latest range of mobile handsets and allow customers to have an interactive merchandise experience through 'live phones' and demonstrations by Axiom's expert retail staff.

"By housing a dedicated LG retail space in-store, Axiom will offer customers the opportunity to trial the products on live handsets and receive expert consultation from our in-store advisors," continued Al Bannai.
