Middle East Communications Service Provider to Leverage Comprehensive Oracle Suite to Help Deliver Next-Generation Services to Customers

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. - AwalNet, one of the largest Internet service providers (ISPs) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will implement Oracle(R) Applications to deliver a superior customer experience.

To enable it to provide a more personalized customer experience, reduce operational costs and increase user satisfaction, AwalNet has selected Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management,
Oracle's Siebel CRM and applications within the Oracle E-Business Suite.

AwalNet will implement Siebel CRM to manage customer relationships and help improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by unifying customer master files to gain a more holistic view of each customer. In addition, AwalNet expects to gain a competitive edge by leveraging Siebel CRM to lower operational costs.

AwalNet is replacing its current billing system with Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management to gain a more flexible, scalable solution to help provide accurate, efficient billing
processes, while streamlining the ability to manage and maintain the systems.

In addition, AwalNet will implement enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications, including Oracle Financials, Oracle Human Capital Management and Oracle Supply Chain Management, to help optimize
organizational resources and unify information from various, disparate data systems. AwalNet will gain the ability to provide users with real-time, secure access to data -- such as financial reports and
human resources information.
