Four Audi Q7's and Two Audi R8 super cars have been added to the Dubai Police patrol car fleet

The Dubai Police General HQ has recently added six new Audi R8 and Audi Q7 cars to its supercar patrol fleet as part of their efforts to reach out to UAE residents on traffic safety.
The new police patrol cars were announced when His Excellency Lt. General Khamis Mattar Al Muzainah, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, received Mr.Ali Al Nabooda, General Manager Audi, Al Nabooda Automobiles, and the accompanying delegation from Audi Middle East at Dubai Police General Headquarters.
H.E. Al Muzainah said that Dubai Police Force has always sought, through the introduction its fleet of supercars, to enhance the security of the emirate.
Commending the partnership with Al Nabooda Automobiles, H.E. Al Muzainah said, "This comes in the context of the commitment of the Dubai Police HQ and Al Nabooda Automobiles together to raise awareness among young drivers, and improve standards of traffic and public safety."
Enrico Atanasio, Brand Director of Audi Middle East joined Ali Al Nabooda in expressing his pride in this partnership, saying that " Al Nabooda Automobiles have a strong relationship with the Dubai Police and we are proud to see this premium fleet of Audi cars in their role to protect and promote traffic safety here in the UAE”.
The new Audi R8 is the most powerful and fastest production Audi ever built. The 5.2 liter V10 enables breathtaking performance, and the sound of its engine is highly emotional. Fuel economy however, has been improved by up to 13 percent in the R8 model series compared to the previous model.
The new Audi Q7 is benchmark of its class in the premium SUV market. It offers luxurious comfort, the largest interior in the segment and a weight saving of up to 325 kilograms. Its innovative assistance and infotainment systems are class leading and the embodiment of the Audi claim of "Vorsprung durch Technik": With up to 27 percent less fuel consumption than its predecessor, the Q7 also achieves the best score in efficiency amongst the competition.
