No more!  Al Khaja Group launches I Quit Smoking

Dubai, UAE: Under the Patronage of H.E. Mr. Hamid Mohamed Al Khattami, Minister of Health, Al Khaja Group, last night officially launched its "I Quit Smoking (IQS)" centers in the UAE with a stunning event. These IQS centers will be operational just before the Holy month of Ramadan. IQS is a unique, innovative treatment method in smoking cessation and is approved by the Ministry of Health, Department of Health and will shortly gain approval from the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi. With over 8 years of operation, I Quit Smoking (IQS) has made a huge success in Europe and the U.S., (IQS) and has successfully treated over 300,000 smokers to date with a 90% success rate.

Across the country, Al Khaja Group is in partnership with major hospitals in different Emirates to make the IQS system easily accessible to smokers who wish to quit. Each treatment is customized to meet an individual's needs.

The IQS system represents a perfect synergy between ancient science, modern technology and one-on-one personal care. It utilizes a sophisticated, interactive device known as Reflection Instrument Scanning Electro-Pulse (R.I.S.E.).

The R.I.S.E. device delivers a minimal electro-impulse to key reflex points on the auricle (outer ear), releasing a flow of beta endorphins (the "feel good" hormone). Beta endorphine is a hormone naturally manufactured by the body, which creates a surge of energy and vitality, immediately followed by an overall sense of calm.

The stimulation of this hormone blocks nicotine molecules and receptors related to tobacco addiction. It is this release of hormone that causes a diminished desire for nicotine.  Other syndromes associated with nicotine withdrawal such as increase appetite, nervousness, loss of concentration will also be eliminated. To top it all it is non-invasive, fast, safe, and completely painless.

Mr. Abdulrahim Abdulla Al Khaja, Managing Director of the Al Khaja Group comments: "Quitting takes hard work and a lot of effort, but now we have a natural, safe, painless and effective system that will help one quit for good. At the Al Khaja Group, it is our keen desire to significantly reduce unnecessary suffering and death from smoking related diseases, and aim towards a smoke free future."

Mr. Saleh Al Nabulsi, Managing Partner, IQS Dubai, adds on: "We are very optimistic about the success of this project in this country and we hope that we will bring a new healthy life to every family that has a smoking member. If a smoker wishes to quit, then all he/she needs to do is call the IQS toll free number on 800 3100."

The IQS treatment will be available at the Dubai Medical Group in Hamarain Center, Dubai, Al Mazroui Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Emirates International Hospital in Al Ain and Specialized Medical Center in Sharjah.
