DUBAI, U.A.E., 23rd June 2009 - Arabian Adventures, part of the Emirates Group and the region's leading Destination Management Company, has appointed a new business development manager as part of its continued expansion programme.

Denise Heckscher will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive business development strategy for the Groups and Incentives Unit at Arabian Adventures, covering Western and Northern Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. She will also develop the business in emerging meetings, incentives, conferences and events (MICE) markets.

An Australian national with over fifteen years of extensive experience across the travel and event management sectors, Ms Heckscher brings a wealth of knowledge and support to the Arabian Adventures team. Her previous professional experience includes being the sales manager for the Globus Family of Brands for the Australian States of Victoria and Tasmania, and the hospitality events manager for Australia and New Zealand for IMG - the world's largest sports marketing company.  She also worked for seven years in the international retail and business sales team at Qantas.
