The conference was done in partnership with HEC Monde Arabe, the Arab association of HEC and Arab Excellence, an inititative by Hamza Chraibi,  meant to promote Arab entrepreneurs all around the World.

A presentation of DUBAI EXPO 2020 has been given to support Dubai's candidature. In his speech, Houssam Nasrawin, President of Arab Business Leaders, underlined the role played by UAE leaders, from HH Sheikh Zayed to HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan and HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid al Maktoum in the development of their country in terms of education, infrastructure, healthcare and democracy. " In 41 years this country has achieved more than most of the countries in the history of the World", said Houssam. He also stressed the progress done in the UAE to foster entrepreneurship in the country and the role of Dubai as an international business hub thanks to the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE. There is no doubt according to Houssam that  Dubai will be the number one international platform for trades between Africa, Europe and Asia in the coming years.

Arab Business Leaders is an international business organization headquartered in Dubai with three main roles: promoting the Arab culture worldwide, fostering entrepreneurship in the Arab World, and encouraging business initiatives between the Arab countries and the rest of the World. As Houssam loves to say:  we are a business and cultural bridge between the Middle East and the Rest of the World . All the members are top decisions makers in business and politics, diplomats and members of the royal families in the GCC. The club has been founded by Houssam Nasrawin, a Dubai based business owner who assists foreign companies to set up their businesses in the Arab World and Ahmed bin Sultan al Suwaidi, an Emirati prominent businessman. A branch dedicated to youth has recently been launched and is managed by Ilham Hmimou, student at HEC Paris.

Among the Board of Directors, chair Sheikha Hind bint Abdulaziz al Qassimi and Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed Al Thani. The organisation has the ambition for 2014 to be a major business player between the Arab World and Africa by organizing summits at the highest levels in some African countries.
