Preparations for the Boat show are well underway
Rumours denounced: Boat show will open as planned

Preparations for the Amwaj Marina Boatshow 2015, which will be held at the prestigious Amwaj Marina in Amwaj Islands, Kingdom of Bahrain, are well-underway and ahead of schedule.
Yachts and various boats have already started to dock at the scenic Marina, gearing up for the excitement of the opening on Thursday March 26 at 3:30pm.
Despite rumours which appeared online from rival Boat show organizers, the event will take place as planned and scheduled.
The Boat Show will open under the patronage of HE Zayed Bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry and Commerce. The three days event will showcase a wide range of band new and pre-owned yachts and jet skis.
The show will feature 16 yachts and boats ranging from 42 ft to 122ft that will be displayed on water and 30 boats of varied sizes on land.
"We are very pleased with the progress we have made so far on-site and are excited for the opening on Thursday. I am confident this event will be a success as we have managed to bring in a large number of yachts and boats, and the hype from the general public about the show is overwhelming," stated Mr. Ali Fardan, Amwaj Marina General Manager.
Mr. Al Fardan continued: "It is unfortunate that other Boat show organizers would spread rumours that our Boatshow is cancelled, when we have worked so hard to make sure it will be deemed a success. That is definitely not the case and will not affect us nor bring us down, as we will continue to give this event our all, and are confident the exhibitors, sponsors, and the public will be pleased with our show."

The Boat Show will take place from March 26-28, 3:30pm-9:30pm at the Amwaj Marina, Amwaj Islands. Entry is BD2 for adults and children above the age of 12. Entry is free for children under 12. Entertainment and raffle prizes will be available at the show.
