"BPV Code: Section VII, Division 1: Design and Fabrication of Pressure Vessels" is a four-day training program providing a comprehensive introduction to Section VIII, Division I of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Rules for Construction of Pressure Vessels.  It will be taught by Robert Kauer, a Dipl. Ing. and Dr. Ing. with nearly 30 years' experience handling projects related to design, structural reliability, Fitness for Service and inspection program development for nuclear and non-nuclear applications in pressure vessel and piping technology.  He is an ASME Authorized Inspector Supervisor and a member of various US and European ASME code committees.

A four day course, "Principles of welding & BPV Code: Section IX Welding and Brazing Qualification"s, The objective of this course is to help technologists, engineers, managers and quality personnel understand the basic physical principles of welding and how and why critical welding variables are governed by application of ASME B&PVC, Section IX, during welding qualifications and during the development of welding procedures. This course will be led by Bob McReynolds, a licensed Professional Engineer with experience since 1993 as a welding and metallurgical engineer in the defense and infrastructure industries, including engineering and quality roles on nuclear power plant modifications, repairs and new constructions.
