Dubai, UAE - February 27, 2008 - Further demonstrating its ability to add value and enable differentiation for OEMs and regional channel partners, AMD (NYSE: AMD) reaffirmed its commitment and contribution to building an effective channel distribution structure at a Channel partner program held last week.
The programme organized by Acer Computers took place at the Kartdrome Dubai Autodrome and saw participation from more than 75 channel partners from across the Middle East.
AMD used this opportunity to demonstrate its channel strategies for 2008 and to reinforce its position in the market as a complete platform solutions provider and leading technological innovator. Senior executives presented a series of successful go-to-market strategies, platform innovations and value propositions that AMD currently offers, and briefed partners on existing and growing trends in the market.
