In line with the university's continued commitment to the development of its institutional and academic capacities and aligning the current provision with the requirements of the Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET) and the Higher Education Council of the kingdom, AMA University has entered into a partnership and agreement with one of the most famous and reputable international institution providing institutional and programmes accreditation as well as consultancy services in the field of higher education, namely the British Accreditation Council. The contract is based on a long-term assignment and would be executed over two stages. The first stage was a preliminary fact-finding visit exploring the university's facilities, documentations and systems to scope out the full project and the targeted outcomes. The scoping process was already carried out during last April in preparation for this contract.
This stage will also include a full review and audit of the university's institutional capacities and programmes, based on QAAET's review framework and recent findings. The last phase of this stage will include a comprehensive report of findings and recommendations and a proposed action plan.
The second stage will be an on-site assistance provided by the consultants of BAC in implementing the recommendations and monitoring and evaluating the improvement plans, to ensure the compliance of the university with the recommendations proposed by the consultants.
