IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that Saudi Arabia's leading and largest Geotextiles & Geocomposites manufacturer for 23 years, Alyaf Industrial Company has chosen IFS Applications™ to replace its current system in order to provide enhanced functionality and better support for the company's expansion plans.
IFS Applications will manage Alyaf's complete manufacturing and supply chain requirements with the ability to support both configure and make to order production. Additionally IFS Applications will also support other operational functions within Alyaf including: HR, finance, payroll, procurement, inventory planning and replenishment, preventative maintenance and work order to maintain the company's equipment. In addition it will help prepare the controlled documentation of all process.
Alyaf will also leverage the IFS Manufacturing VisualiserTM - an out-of-the-box configurable solution that provides up-to-date information about production statuses from a resource and material perspective.
With two production sites under one company, multiple warehouses and sales centres located across the Middle East, Alyaf required a solution that will support the company's ongoing expansion projects to meet increased demand for its products mix. The deployment of IFS Applications is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2016.
