Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain - Alosra supermarket, the fresh and friendly subsidiary of BMMI, officially opened its doors to the Juffair community on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
Located in Al Raya Mall, this is now the chain's fifth branch across the kingdom and is in alignment with the supermarket's expansion strategy to allow convenient access for customers to buy the products that Alosra is renowned for.
"We are very excited about the opportunity to serve more customers in Juffair and its surrounding areas," said Alosra Vice President, Food Retailing & Production, Mr. Jaffar Al Asfoor. "Alosra Juffair gives us the chance to extend our reach and provide our customers with the fresh and friendly, premium experience they have come to expect from Alosra. With our recent expansion all over the kingdom, we have aimed to make it more convenient for our customers to get their favourite products, closer to home."
The official opening of the new store was held on Thursday, the 8thth of May. His Excellency, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr. Hassan Fakhro led the ribbon cutting ceremony. The Alosra team also conducted a tour of the different departments, answered questions and encouraged invitees to sample some of Alosra's products. The BMMI Board of Directors, BMMI top management and other VIPs also attended the event.
Alosra Juffair is open daily from 7am to 11pm and is located in Al Raya Mall, near the Al-Fateh Mosque, by the Residence Inn by Marriott.
