Manama, Bahrain: In line with the agreement between AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation and Tamkeen, the foundation will continue to work with Tamkeen for the second consecutive year to organize youth programs aimed at developing the skills of Bahraini youth and preparing them to enter the labor market.

The Rayaat Scholarship Program was initiated in 2011 as a comprehensive approach to education and personal development. The program provides students with scholarships at accredited universities in the Kingdom. In addition, the program offers incentives and enrichment workshops that promote a culture of social responsibility to instill principles of volunteerism and community service.

A number of courses and workshops were hosted which included English Writing Skills in cooperation with the Berlitz Bahrain Language Center, as well as courses offered by Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) such as Critical Thinking, Time Management and Presentation Skills.

The course also offers different workshops which enhance the personal skills of young people such as improving self-confidence, self-assertion, public speaking skills, communication and management skills which enables the Bahraini youth to be fully-equipped when entering the labor market.

AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation Board of Trustees' chairperson, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa highlighted Tamkeen’s outstanding efforts in supporting Bahraini youth and also thanked them for their support which will contribute towards the development of the Rayaat program’s events and activities.

Under the agreement, Tamkeen has cooperated with AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation for the second consecutive year to implement 7 initiatives aimed at benefiting students enrolled under the Rayaat Scholarship Program, which included an English language, English Writing Skills courses hosted by Berlitz Bahrain Language Center. In addition, two courses on Photoshop hosted by Training Plus Institute, along with courses on critical thinking, professional presentation skills, and time management in cooperation with BIBF.
