Setting a new standard in community living
Aldar Properties, today confirmed that handover to homeowners at Al Bandar, the first residential community to be delivered within Al Raha Beach in Abu Dhabi, began last week with the first resident moving in on Monday 13th September.
An island development set around a world class marina, Al Bandar is home to modern apartments and duplexes, loft-style residences and larger family apartments, all with balconies and waterside views.
Al Bandar is divided into three zones - Al Naseem, Al Barza and Al Manara.
Al Naseem is made up of three glass-sided buildings with rippling faades of reflective walls and translucent balconies that reach out into the channel. Al Barza features loft style studio, one-bed and two-bedroom apartments with an open-plan, gallery feel. Al Manara is a glass tower offering commanding 360-degree views.
International standard customer, concierge and security services will be provided by Aldar's Facilities Management team, whilst Aldar will also offer owners access to leasing services, both directly and via approved third party providers.
This integrated residential community will provide its residents, and those from the wider community, with a range of retail and leisure facilities, cafes and restaurants.
Al Bandar will feature 3,500sqm of retail including a Spinney's supermarket and laundry, a pharmacy, Alpha Optical eye care, Nails Couture nail bar, Parlour X hair salon, real estate agent The Property Shop and the boutique clinic Health Plus. The community will also feature two cafes and two casual dining restaurants, a Hutspot Juice Bar and Pacifico, a striking waterfront restaurant set on the tip of the marina.
The development has 4 swimming pools for the exclusive use of residents including 2 lap pools and children's pool. The development will also feature a Clubhouse that will include a gymnasium for the use of Al Bandar residents which will open in early 2011 as well as a Yoga Tree Soma Pilates Studio which will be open to the public.
Al Bandar Marina is a community based marina designed for the mainstream owner and those who wish to make their first step into boating, with a total of 131 berths ranging in sizes from 9 metres to 24 metres. To encourage recreational boating, Aldar Marinas will introduce family days and open days on the sheltered waters of Abu Dhabi's extensive inland waterways and marina staff will be on hand 24hours a day to assist with customers boating requirements. In time, Al Bandar Marina will open to boat owners from the wider Abu Dhabi community.
