Alba is the Gold Sponsor of the 1st Middle East Process Engineering Conference & Exhibition (MEPEC 2011), with a sponsorship support worth BD 9,500 (US$ 25,196)

MEPEC 2011 - organised under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Energy, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Al Mirza - will be held from October 23 - 26, 2011 at the Gulf International Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel, Bahrain.

The theme of the conference and exhibition is: "Towards Technological Excellence and Innovative Solutions."

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba)'s sponsorship support worth BD 9,500 (US$ 25,196) for the 1st Middle East Process Engineering Conference & Exhibition 2011 (MEPEC 2011) highlights the company's commitment to promote a broader and comprehensive understanding of the latest trends, developments, products, technologies and solutions in the field of chemical processing.

Organised under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Energy, Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza, MEPEC 2011 will be held under the theme: "Towards Technological Excellence and Innovative Solutions" from October 23 to 26, 2011 at the Gulf International Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel, Bahrain.

The organisers of this event - of which Alba is one of the Gold Sponsors - are the Saudi Arabian Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (SAS-AIChE) and the Bahrain Society of Engineers supported by AIChE.

Alba's Process Control Manager Avinash Mittal will be making a presentation on "Quality Improvement Techniques in Alba" during this conference on October 25, 2011.
