Al Hanoo Holding, one of the biggest active real estate developers in the region, has announced its sponsorship of the 15th Hamriyah Summer Meeting, organized by the Hamriyah Sports and Cultural Club.
The event, entitled "Country of bestowal", will take place from 13 June to 21 July 2009, and will see young boys and girls take part in various sporting and cultural activities. The activities will focus on noble national values, and will include workshops where youngsters can develop their unique skills and talents. The event is particularly useful in singling out the gifted, increasing their ability to innovate and excel.
Said Sheik Abdullah bin Fahid Al Shakrah, Vice Chairman of Business Development at Al Hanoo Holding: "This sponsorship comes from our desire to contribute to the communities in which we operate, and to support organized activities in these communities. The Hamriyah Sport and Cultural Club management praised Al Hanoo's continued sponsorship, as well as the impact the company has made on the city, thanking the company for the success of last year's event, which Al Hanoo also sponsored. In addition to the Hamriyah Summer Meeting, Al Hanoo sponsors numerous social, cultural and sports activities, the last of which was the Al Mualla football tournament in the emirate of Um Al Qeweein.
Al Hanoo is currently developing the Al Nujoom Islands project on Hamriyah beach. This project consists of 13 sections connected by water canals, carefully designed according to the highest international quality standards. Upon completion, the project will be the biggest landmark in the Arabian Gulf area in terms of investment and built up area.
