Dubai, UAE April 18, 2012: Al Ghurair Centre successfully launched its signature 10 day Al Ghurair Styling Event which ran from March 22nd - 31st 2012.

In conjunction with well-known stylist, Farah Kabir, we offered 10 days of exclusive styling advice where women mingled and shared fashion tips which helped them discover what clothes flatter their body shapes, how to enhance their natural beauty and what color and fabric works best for them."

Farah Kabir held daily sessions on topics such as Fashion faux pas: Dos and don'ts; Different body shapes and styles; Accessorize yourself; Fashion trends and Textile and prints, where she gave shoppers expert advice, fashion fusion tips and held question-and-answer rounds.

At the Fashion faux pas: Do's and don'ts workshop, women learned that they should not wear crocs for a stylish look.

The Different body shapes and styles session highlighted that you should adapt accessories to your own scale, sporting an oversized bag will only make you look smaller and vice versa.   

Accessorize yourself workshop taught women that they can brighten up an outfit with a statement necklace.

The Fashion Trends session stressed that with summer around the corner, women should have fun with pastels, brights and color blocking by selecting clothes in aqua shades, pastels and neons.

Don't wear anything that brings attention to the widest part of your body if you don't want to highlight it, such as hem lines or horizontal stripes. Use scarves, accessories or darker shades to draw away attention from this particular body part - a lesson learned at the Textile and Prints workshop.
