Control and Life Safety division offers expertise in design, installation and maintenance of fire protection and detection systems
Dubai: Al-Futtaim Engineering has introduced a new business division that will carry out design, installation and maintenance of fire protection and detection systems.
The Control and Life Safety division will undertake design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of firefighting, emergency lighting services, gas fire suppression system, fire alarm, BMS, Lighting control, access control and CCTV system for commercial, residential, industrial, retail, hospitality and infrastructure projects.
Approved by the Dubai Civil Defence, the newly created division complies with all major international fire and safety codes and standards including National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the UAE fire code and Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), and is familiar with other relevant standards and codes of practice.

Demonstrating its commitment to quality, the team has undergone specialized training courses conducted by internationally recognized fire training organizations in order to ensure engineers and support staff are trained to industry standards and is up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.
The equipment and systems that the division offers enable them to provide systems that suit almost any application including Fire detection systems, Aspirating systems, PA / VA systems, Central battery systems, Gas fire suppression systems (including FM200, CO2, NOVEC and Inergen), Water spray and sprinkler systems, pre action systems, Water mist systems, Foam proportioning and spray systems, Fire hydrant and wet riser systems, Deluge systems and Kitchen hood fire suppression systems, BMS, Lighting control, access control and CCTV systems. All systems can be supplied as standalone or integrated into a full fire and security system.
The division also carries out annual maintenance and breakdown maintenance of fire protection and BMS systems to the highest standards to ensure safety of life and property.
