Fourteenth Location in the Middle East to Service Expanding Market

Kuwait City, KUWAIT, 6 March 2005 - In response to the growing travel market within the region, Air Arabia LLC - one of the UAE's national airlines and the first low-cost airline of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region - opened its fourteenth travel shop in the Middle East last week, in Kuwait City.

Inaugurated by Air Arabia's Chairman - His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Moh'd Al-Thani, Air Arabia's CEO - Adel Ali and General Sales Agent (GSA) Zaid Al Khubaizi - General Manager, Alghanim Travel, the Air Arabia branded travel shop will exclusively cater to the needs of Air Arabia's customers and is centrally located in the Kuwait Building on Fahed Al Salem Street.

Speaking at the travel shop inauguration, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Bin Moh'd Al-Thani said: "Increasing customer demand for the low-cost airline concept has encouraged us to open an Air Arabia branded travel shop in Kuwait City; we want to ensure that we give our customers the service that they require - we believe that the opening of this shop will enable us to do this better." He added: "I would like to thank the Kuwait government and aviation authorities for their support over the last sixteen months. Kuwait is a very important market for us and our commitment to offer the Kuwaiti people more and more affordable travel throughout the region continues."

"The Kuwait route was Air Arabia's second destination and due to passenger demand on this route last December we increased flights to five days a week," commented Adel Ali. "The Kuwait route is a popular route with both business and leisure travellers and we will continue to offer passengers added value where possible - whether this is through new initiatives, services, routes, promotions and so on."

With the addition of its fifth Airbus A320 last month, Air Arabia offers travellers the very best in customer comfort with an aircraft combining the widest and most spacious cabins in its class. The A320 is the preferred choice in the single-aisle market, known not only for its wide seats, aisles and increased cabin storage, but also for the technological innovation that brings enhanced performance and reliability. In addition, Air Arabia offers an in-flight entertainment system with both video and audio choices to passengers on short and long haul routes.

Zaid Al Khubaizi added: "As a pioneer of low-cost travel within the region, offering all types of travellers - whether business or leisure - the opportunity to travel, Air Arabia has opened doors to people that were not able to afford air travel in the past. We look forward to offering Kuwaiti residents more of Air Arabia's hospitality!"
