Dubai, UAE, March 25, 2007: adidas celebrated the launch of adidas Originals, the essential street fashion label with Dubai's young and trendy on Thursday (March 22) at a mock venue adjacent to the Dubai Country Club.
Guests were requested to arrive at the Dubai Convention Centre car park, where they were transported by mini vans to the party's secret location. At the venue, the trend-setting invitees convened with an energetic passion for one of the world's most loved brands.
DJ Rozzano, the dancing sensation Fusion and graffiti artist Rudy from South Africa, as well as a winning beatboxing duo from Germany stole the show with their respective performances, keeping the crowd entertained throughout the night and perfecting the urban themed party.
adidas Originals forms a part of Sport Heritage, the lifestyle division within the company. With stores in leading urban cities around the world, from New York to Tokyo, adidas Originals is geared to play a role in Dubai's heritage.
The adidas Originals store is now open at the Waterfront Centre, Dubai Festival City. The Missy Elliott, Ali by adidas, Porsche Design and Freizeit collections are a few of the desired collections that await customers.
