The agreement, which was finalised at GITEX, will see ADIC upgrade its Oracle General Ledger to Oracle E-Business Suite with the help of Hyperlink expertise.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, September 12, 2007: Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC) today announced that it has chosen Hyperlink, a leading systems integrator and Oracle Certified Advantage Partner, to help upgrade its Oracle General Ledger to Oracle Financials further to adding the Oracle Supply Chain & Oracle HRMS Suite.

Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC) is one of the leading investment and merchant banking institutions in the Middle East, offering a full range of treasury, capital markets, investment and corporate finance activities, and serving both international and regional public and private sector clients, as well as high net worth individuals.

"ADIC's primary role is to provide a comprehensive range of sophisticated and innovative investment banking services and solutions to its clients," says Mr. Jasem Al Zaabi -  CEO at ADIC. "Our business activities consist of investment and merchant banking, loan syndications, foreign exchange, money market dealings, trade finance, asset management, securities and commodity trading to name a few. With such a wide range of services in place, ADIC needed to have the best software systems to support our growth and endeavours and we are confident that Oracle's solutions implemented by Hyperlink will go a long way in helping us serve our customers better."

"ADIC has always been a customer of Oracle and so when it found a need to upgrade, it naturally chose Oracle's latest offerings. ADIC decided to partner with Hyperlink for this project because we have the knowledge, expertise and implementation experience in this domain and have been one of the leading integrators for such solutions in the region," said Mr. Dani Diab, Executive Vice President of Hyperlink. "With people-related costs averaging over 60 percent of total corporate expenditures, leading firms are paying increased attention to the contribution made by their workers and are developing a new model for HR. This model includes programs to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of the workforce and the ability to manage locally or globally. To be fully effective, these programs require new processes supported by leading technologies," he added.

Oracle E-Business Suite Financials automates and streamlines all the company's financial business processes, for enterprise-wide daily business intelligence that lets the company make more informed decisions, improve operations and reduce costs. A unified data model provides a single accurate view of all the financial information, including a 360-degree view of a company's customers. And Oracle Financials, running on Oracle technology, gives companies an industry-leading performance and scalability.

"ADIC decided to change its existing HR strategy with a better focused vision. Apart from upgrading to Oracle Financials Suite, ADIC also added two new modules to its IT infrastructure. These solutions include the Oracle HRMS suite, which comes with solutions such as HR, payroll, self service, to name a few and the Oracle Supply Chain suite, which will enhance its existing processes and automate ADIC's complete end-to-end cycle," Diab added.

The Oracle E-Business Suite Human Resources Management System family of applications automates the entire recruit-to-retire process, so a company can align its workforce with strategic objectives. A single integrated data model provides an up-to-the-instant accurate view of human resources-related activities, including recruiting, performance management, learning, compensation, benefits, payroll, time management, and real time analytics.

Meanwhile, the Oracle E-Business Suite Supply Chain Management family of applications integrates and automates all key supply chain activities, from design, planning and procurement to manufacturing and fulfillment. A unified data model provides a single, accurate view of the company's entire supply chain, so it can enforce lean principles across increasingly complex, global supply chains. And when Oracle Supply Chain Management runs on Oracle technology, companies can speed implementation, optimise performance, streamline support and maximise ROI.
