Dubai, United Arab Emirates - ACDelco, the world's largest provider of branded automotive spare parts, made a big impact at the opening of the 2008 Automechanika Middle East Show in Dubai (1st-3rd June 2008)with its innovative and interactive 'Car Clinic' themed stand.
Attracting large numbers of visitors, including a visit from H.E Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, the stand was specially designed to demonstrate how the ACDelco brand can provide both parts and services to customers to ensure a healthier car for the duration of its life.
"The idea behind the 'Car Clinic' theme was to allow visitors to the stand to watch as a highly skilled ACDelco 'surgeon' performed a variety of operations and we are very pleased that this seems to have really grabbed peoples' attention," said Glenn Heller, General Manager of ACDelco Independent Aftermarket - Middle East and Africa. He added, "Automechanika Middle East has gone from strength to strength with each passing year and it is important for us to be here as it provides us with a good brand building opportunity and a chance to get up-close with the trade."
A subsidiary of General Motors, ACDelco has been an integral part of the automotive industry for almost 100 years and is a market leader, able to cater for all makes and all models of automotive vehicles, regardless of the manufacturer. Today, ACDelco supplies more than 75,000 component parts and has network of 34 Service Centers. ACDelco also supplies automotive batteries for every vehicle available in the Middle East.
