As the world's financial and recruitment markets become increasingly globalized, the interest of business education has never been greater. Offering prospective MBA candidates the opportunity to meet face to face with the world's top international business schools, the Access MBA One-to-One Tour is a unique and effective way to find the right MBA.
Global Business Education on the Rise
The recent economic downturn emphasized the global interconnectivity of business today, and the need for professionals to acquire an international profile in order to become 21st century business leaders. Obtaining a global perspective is an increasingly important asset for career-focused individuals across the world.
While employment security was down and the job market was tight over the past few years, many business executives have taken advantage of the downturn to invest in their careers. Now, as global economies improve, new educational and employment options are taking shape and are catching the eye of business professionals around the world. The return on investment is high for candidates who have recently earned their MBA at top international business schools. A 2009 GMAC Alumni Survey shows that a graduate business education yields impressive returns: 80% of MBA graduates who attained a new job after graduation indicated they "could not have obtained that job without a graduate management degree."
Business school applications and investments have soared amidst the global economic crisis of 2009, and they show little signs of relenting. Application volume for Full-Time MBA programs is at its highest level while Part-Time and Distance Learning program application rates remain stable.
An Exclusive and Effective Service for MBA Candidates
The Access MBA Tour is a series of targeted events focused on high quality, personalised services for MBA candidates. On the Tour, qualified professionals are given the chance to meet with business school representatives in private One-to-One meetings. In addition, Access MBA advisors at the event help orient candidates towards the business schools that match their criteria. This personalized orientation and the individualized discussions with Admissions Officers differentiate Access MBA from other MBA fair organizers. "Unlike big fairs, the One-to-One meetings have proven over the past 6 years to be the best tool for both schools and candidates to go ahead with their specific needs, leading our company to organize nearly 50 events of this kind in 2010 - representing a yearly growth of over 20 percent since 2004" says Christophe Coutat, Founder and Manager of the Access MBA Tour.
"We are convinced of the value of the Access MBA 1-2-1 events as we are consistently presented with high-quality candidates who fit our programme and our recruitment goals; many more than we would normally meet at a traditional fair event and with better profiles and motivation," says Helen Dowd, Admissions Director at Manchester Business School. The school, ranked in the top 20 worldwide, participates in the Access MBA Tour year upon year.
