Internationally renowned artists impress with collection of contemporary sculpture and art masterpieces during exhibition opening night
Abu Dhabi, UAE: In the company of a select line-up of guests, including customers, art lovers and car enthusiasts alike, Abu Dhabi Motors showcased its Umm Al Nar showroom-come-art gallery during an exclusive invitation-only event for the opening night of its unique art exhibition entitled 'The Road is your Easel.'
Held last week (Monday 5th November) at the BMW Group importer's flagship showroom and the world's largest BMW Group retail facility, the evening saw art, design and engineering excellence fuse with the unveiling of a unique collection of traditional and contemporary sculpture and art masterpieces. Exhibiting internationally renowned artists included Andy Warhol, Romero Britto, Edouardo Guelfenbein, Ki Soo Kwon and Ali Esmaeilipour. The official BMW Group importer stamped its own artistic signature on the event by turning a MINI Coupé, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé and a Rolls-Royce Phantom into individual works of art, by applying creative designs.
Held in parallel to this year's Abu Dhabi Art, 'The Road is your Easel' will run for one month, ending Thursday 6 December 2012, at Abu Dhabi Motors' flagship showroom in Umm Al Nar. The exhibition is curated in partnership with Opera Gallery Group.
