For the past forty years we threaded the sky with our aircrafts, weaving our way through the clouds to 50 destinations around the globe.Always employing the latest lines in aviation technology and using international standards to measure and size up our services. All for the purpose of providing our passengers with the kind of services that's especially tailored for their travelling needs and more elbow room for comfort.

Out of this un-dwindling passion to constantly stay at the cutting edge of the airline business, we took in our stride the total refitting of our air and ground crews with a new line of uniforms. And by design of being a national carrier, we engaged a national company, Al Zay, to provide Royal Jordanian with the new uniform design.

The new uniform carries in its lines, folds and colors all that's Royal Jordanian, a dynamic and modern company that's proud of it's nationality and history. The high quality fabric allows our staff to perform their tasks comfortably and confidently in all weather conditions. Its trendy and fashionable design reflects positively on the attitude of our staff, and is befitting of all the different tastes of our passenger.

As times of change, we change. But in essence, Royal Jordanian is still the same airline that you can depend on at all times.

As Jordan's national carrier, Royal Jordanian airline has always reflected the spirit and progressive nature of this country, embracing its culture and heritage while encouraging modernization.A very public part of the airline's image is the Royal Jordanian cabin crew's uniform and this year ,as part of it's 40th anniversary celebrations, Royal Jordanian decided it was time for a change.

Royal Jordanian is introducing a brand new uniform for all its staff which has been designed not only to keep pace with current fashion trends but also to mirror the overall development of the airline.

Jordanian ready-wear manufacturer (Al  Zay) which came up with the new design, "Royal Jordanian wanted a change; a new uniform for the new millennium that is more elegant and distinguished, and reflects the heritage of Jordan. The company started by looking at the colours used by Royal Jordanian-Charcoal, Red and White-colours that it felt symbolized Jordan as a country ."Red is a very prominent colour here and it was chosen for the women's uniform, while the men's uniform is mainly charcoal.

It was important that the new uniforms were comfortable and suitable for all seasons, as well as for the different climates of various countries. Fabrics such as wool, polyester and lycra were used. "Lycra is good for flexibility and polyester is a practical, wrinkle-free material. Staffs are very happy with the new design and bright colours.
