Cinescape launches the latest 3D IMAX theatre in a shopping center

Kuwait, 11 January 2009: Tamdeen Shopping Centers Development Company, a subsidiary of Tamdeen Real Estate Company, announces the partnership and addition of Kuwait National Cinema Company "Cinescape" to their latest flagship project 360 Kuwait. This strategic partnership comes about providing the latest cinema halls as well as including the first 3D IMAX theatre, allowing 360 KUWAIT to become the first shopping center that offers the IMAX experience in Kuwait.

The IMAX Theatre Network currently consists of more than 280 IMAX affiliated theatres in 38 countries around the world. Approximately 60% percent of the theatres are located in North America," added Al Marzouq.

It is worth mentioning that the use of IMAX facilities is common within institutional venues such as scientific centers, museums, and planetariums, due to the cutting edge technology it provides in delivering clear and concise motion pictures. The newly added IMAX facility, housed in 360 KUWAIT, position it to become the first shopping center in the country that would encapsulate a 3D equipped movie theater, as well as the largest movie screen complex, all under one roof.

360 KUWAIT will include a mix of luxury brands, dining and entertainment being introduced for the first time in Kuwait. Furthermore, amongst the wide variety of sumptuous food lounges and cafes, it will also feature a state-of-the-art family entertainment centre designed for various age groups. Renowned Géant hypermarket will be introduced in Kuwait for the first time through 360 KUWAIT, offering a wide array of top and selected international brands. This innovative development will also feature unparalleled services that include a concierge and a designated multi-level car parking space.
