'Summer for learning and activity'
218 students, boys and girls, from different schools have recently completed their vacation training at Dubai Municipality, said Ahlam Mirza ,Head of Human Resource Development Section at DM.
Khalid Ali Bin Zayed, Director, Human Resources Department at Dubai Municipality distributed course completion certificates and prizes to the trainees at a program specially held at Dubai Municipality head quarters at Deira.
"Summer vacation is not supposed to be time for being idle or lazy; rather we should redefine it being active and engaging" he said while addressed the students.
"Dubai Municipality just hoped to be catalysts in moulding a skilled force of youngsters whom the country can trust on in future. We are very happy having a group of vibrancy and excellence with us" he said Further.
Ahlam Mirza said 218 students were given training under the title 'summer for learning and activity' this year. They were deployed in activities of various sections in Dubai Municipality
She also said Dubai Municipality is one among the entities that accommodate largest number of students for vacation training.
DM has paid student trainees amounts ranging from AED 1000 to AED 2400 as stipend at the end of training period .They were considered like DM employees in their duties, attendance and discipline during training days.
